IT'S APPLE SEASON HERE IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN. THE APPLE BLOSSOM IS OUR STATE FLOWER. LOOKING AT THE LIST OF TOP APPLE PRODUCERS WE ARE #2 (AFTER WASHINGTON STATE). HOWEVER, I SEE VIRGINIA IS ALSO BIG ON APPLES AT #5! SO HERE'S A DESSERT RECIPE TO GO WITH THE SOUP I POSTED UNDER CHAIN REACTION.

Yes, near my Sister's in NW. Virginia is near Apple growers.
Hubs & I are both borderline diabetics so she gets me sugar free:
Butter with Apple (lol)
 great on toast or with peanut butter

Mmm, Mmm, Mmmm looks so good. I love food (who doesn't?) but not that into cooking. Fortunately, my son does love to cook and is really good at it. His specialties are soups. Just had a bowl of his latest tomato rice beef soup about an hour ago. He made this next dish a couple of months ago, though not with all the spices recommended (for my sake). Am posting it because next letter up is E.
