Interesting! I'd never heard of bridge tunnel combo. No wonder, there are only 3 in the US, all in Hampton VA area. (I'm learning bunch of stuff from our games

). BTW, I'm coming to your neck of the woods 2nd week of Sept. It's been a lifetime wish to go whale watching so my son and I are going to Cape May 9/9-12 then drive to DC for few days. Fly back 16th. Wouldn't it be cool to meet up somehow? Anyway, I'm switch gears from bridge to tunnel (your post was officially Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

We leave this coming Sat and fly out of Detroit to Philly. To NJ for whale watching on Sunday. then drive to DC Tues to do museums etc for couple days and finally drive to Wilmington Fri to visit with my son's friend. Fly out Sat. So the week will be over before you know it. If vacation was longer would try to come to Virginia Beach but not this time. Are you and your sister going anywhere special? Will check in here before leaving but will be off computer until home the 18th.

My Sister turned 70 Sept 12 also! (My other Son had mild covid too - he's North of me. )
